Hi! My name is Jake, and I am the founder of Lake State Outdoor Products! I was born and raised in Minnesota with a dad and grandpa who were avid outdoorsmen, so I found a love for the outdoors at a young age - no matter the temperature or season. When I was in High School I started a small landscaping business, Lake State Outdoor Services. I knew it wasn't forever, but I loved it for the fact that I was outside for 12-14+ hours a day. When I was graduating High School in 2019, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, but I knew it would involve creating and coming out with my own designs and products. Fast forward 5 years and I am managing a small CNC machine shop that is owned by a family friend of that same grandpa. Where else would be a more perfect place to bring ideas to life? I developed my take on the "Smitty" sled in the winter of 22-23, but brought it to life in late 2023. I am thinking and working every day on ways to improve current designs, and brand-new designs as well - Of course all Made In the USA!
